Obituary of Alexis Pennington

Alexis PenningtonA celebration of life Mass will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Eugene, followed by a reception at the Eugene Country Club, for Alexis Patricia Pennington of Eugene, who died of meningoencephalitis on March 6. She was 22.Pennington was born Jan. 9, 1989, in Wailuku, Hawaii, to John and Paula Monsey Pennington. She was in her senior year at the University of Oregon, completing her bachelor’s degree in business.Survivors include her parents of Eugene; a grandmother, Carol Pennington of Eugene; and a brother, Jack Pennington of Eugene.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
