Obituary of Frank Baker
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at West Lawn Memorial Chapel in Eugene for Frank Baker of Eugene, who died March 18 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 84.Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial at West Lawn Memorial Park will follow Thursday’s service,He was born April 9, 1926, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., to James and Lucy Price Baker.He married Patsy Johnson on May 21, 1999, in Springfield.He was a lineman for Lane County Co-op for 30 years, retiring in 1983.Survivors include his wife; two sons, James of Florence and David of Eugene; a sister, Bernice Mackey of Eugene; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His first wife, Ollie Mae Baker, and a daughter, Lanette Lake, died previously.Remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Association of Lane County.
