Obituary of Warren Moran

Warren Moran Jr.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Eugene for Warren C. Moran Jr. of Eugene, who died March 27 in a boating accident. He was 59.He was born July 11, 1951, in Augusta, Ga., to Warren and Sally Holt Moran. He married Martha “Marty” McCurdy on March 7, 1981, in Scarsdale, N.Y.He attended Brevard College in North Carolina and graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1975.He worked as a consultant who specialized in mobile video, most recently with the Winegard Company.Survivors include his wife; his parents; two sons, Elliot of Denver and John of Chicago; a daughter, Erin of Madison, Wis.; a brother, Holt of Aiken, S.C.; and a sister, Elinor Zito of York, Penn.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
