Obituary of Elizabeth Frederick

A private family service will be held for Elizabeth T. Frederick of Eugene, who died of pneumonia on March 29 at age 95.She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Clovis, N.M., to John and Bessie Weathers Tatum. She married George Frederick in June 1937 in Albuquerque, N.M. He died in 1991.She earned her master’s degree from the University of New Mexico. She taught for 28 years in the New Mexico public schools.Survivors include three sons, Ron of Austin, Texas, Doug of Truth or Consequences, N.M., and John of Denver; two daughters, Barbara Ewing of Noti and Mary King of Albuquerque; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
