Virginia SzymanczykVirginia Szymanczyk of Eugene died April 10 of age-related causes. She was 94. A private family gathering is planned.She was born Dec. 18, 1916, in Elberton, Ga., to Melvin and Ruby Cash Greenway. She married Edward Szymanczyk in June 1946 in Georgia. He died in 1992.She worked as a master beautician and administrative assistant at the veterans hospital in Augusta, Ga., and was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Candace Syman-Degler of Eugene; a son, Mike of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Anne Ward of Elberton and Norma Hunt of Winter Park, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to Cascade Manor.
