Obituary of Norma Jo Lowe

Norma LoweThe funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, at Willamette Christian Center in Eugene for Norma Jo “Jo” Lowe of Eugene, who died April 7 of cancer. She was 82.She was born March 2, 1929, in Edmond, Okla., to LeRoy and Letha Watkins Brenner. She married Jimmy Lowe on April 16, 1949, in Edmond.She graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1946 and held a bachelor of arts degree in music education from the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1958. She taught vocal music for 29 years in elementary, junior high and high schools in Oklahoma, California and Texas and directed church choirs during her teaching career.Survivors include her husband; a son, Rod of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Rhonda Costanza of Eugene; and two grandchildren.Private burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Cascade Hospice or Willamette Christian Center Food Pantry.
