Obituary of Marie Franklin

A private family service and burial will be held for Marie Franklin of Eugene, who died April 12 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born July 14, 1924, in Judson, N.C., to Philip and Maybell Keener Crisp. She married Giles Franklin in 1942 in Georgia; he died in June 2003.She graduated from high school in Almond, N.C. and from business college in Canton, Ohio. She retired as department manager after 20 years of service with Blue Cross of Ohio.Survivors include two sons, Joe and Jack, both of Eugene; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
