Obituary of Marion Joyce Nicholls

NICHOLLS: Marion Joyce Nicholls passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Marion was born on August 24, 1932 to parents Archie and Ila McKellar. She was predeceased by her brothers, Douglas and Neil. Left to mourn are her husband Ed Nicholls, son Douglas (Kim) Nicholls, daughter Cathy Lawson, grandchildren Robin, Steven and Ben Lawson, Marshall and Meghan Nicholls. Also surviving are her twin sister Maxine McKellar and brother, Bill McKellar. Marion will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nursing staff on 200, particularly Linda S. and Caryn as well as Lynne F. and Dr. Davis, for their compassionate care of Marion during her hospital stay. A time of viewing and visitation will be held at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shannon McCarthy of Central United Church officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
