Dear Wilma,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Archie today. As we are out of the country until
March it was not possible for us to attend the service honoring Arch's life.
While being absent from Brandon for over 25 years I have many, many fond memories of the many times that we spent together.
As you know, Archie was cared for, admired, and respected by great numbers of people including me.
Most Sincerely,

We are truly sorry to hear of Arch's passing. He will be remembered fondly by so many people. I especially remember him playing Santa Clause at the lake to my kids and my oldest son (who was about 7 years old at the time) telling him even though he was Santa Clause - no one is allowed to wear their shoes in grandma's house. I think he took his boots off. He was a wonderful man and touched the lives of many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Wilma and family, it was with much sadness to learn of Archie's passing. I don't recall seeing him without a smile upon his face when he would enthusiastically greet you! When Archie asked how you were doing, he genuinely wanted to know! Back in 1981, Darrell Barr and I rented retail space from Archie in the old Brandon Body Works building at 9th and Southern. Archie introduced us to a mini-trampoline that he brought back from Arizona, and suggested we look into selling them. As a result of Archie's encouragement, we started a new company to manufacture rebound fitness equipment in Brandon, and enjoyed a successful enterprise distributing our products throughout Western Canada! May your many fond memories of Archie bring you comfort at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers today, and in the days to come. ~ Kindest personal regards, Donna

Dear Wilma, Dee Dee, Clint and Anna, Christie and Bob and Elizabeth extended Family
Del and I were saddened to learn of Archie's passing. Our families lived next door to each other, and although I was older, my brother Allan was best friends with Arch as we grew up on 15th Street.
Later in life I came to know that Archie was seen as an accomplished business man and a real asset to the community of Brandon and surrounding area.
It has been mentioned by others, however it bears repeating; Arch had one of the most infectious smiles anywhere. It was a real uplifting experience to be in his company.
We'll miss seeing you on your boat Arch!

It is with a heavy heart that I send my sincere condolences to Wilma and family in the passing of a dear husband and father. For over 25 years, Arch gave me advice and support as the managing director of the HDDC. Often when I called for Arch he would be on the road making calls on his customers. I remember saying to him one day that he was one of the few President's that I knew who actively supported his customer base. He truly walked the talk. I literally loved the guy. I believe that in his transition from our present paradise to his heavenly paradise where his spirit will be one with the universe that he will be a guardian Angel to all those he loved and cared for.
Thanks Arch for everything.

To family and friends,
I've known Arch professionally for years and always admired his great nature and kind ways. The last time I saw him, back in April, we were able to chat for a while and I felt sad to see how his sickness had taken a toll on him. The memories I keep are that of a fine gentleman, a great individual whose company was always so pleasant.
To his family and close friends, to those who will miss him I extend my most sincere sympathy.
Regards,
Guy
