Selma JamesSPRINGFIELD — A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay for Selma Alvina James of Springfield, who died April 10 of age-related causes. She was 94.She was born Dec. 12, 1916, in Salvadore, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Henry and Catherine Phoftenroth Langlitz. She married James Edgar James on Oct. 31, 1933, in Portland. He died March 1, 1974.She worked for Safeway Stores for 22 years in Coquille and Coos Bay.Survivors include two sons, James and Guinn, both of Springfield; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
