Obituary of Rose Wickstrom

FLORENCE — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 16 at Presbyterian Church of the Siuslaw for Rose L. Wickstrom of Florence, who died Jan. 7 of heart failure. She was 92. Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.She was born Jan. 26, 1918, in Gaston to Addison and Catherine Sappington Williams. She married Harold Wickstrom on Jan. 9, 1936, in Vancouver, Wash. He died June 19, 2009.She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Gary of Concord, Calif.; a daughter, Gail Wickstrom of Eugene; a brother, Donald Williams of Longview, Wash.; three sisters, June Phelps, Betty Koenig and Jean Halleck, all of Longview, Wash; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
