Obituary of Maxine Thompson

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 18, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Maxine Thompson of Eugene, who died April 8 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was 83.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.She was born March 26, 1928, in Crawfords, Neb., to Arthur and Mabel Reeves Rodgers. She married Basil Thompson on April 5, 1947, in Junction City.She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Chris Yoder of Lebanon and Becky Reid; a brother, Robert Rodgers of Keizer; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Remembrances to Good Neighbor Care.
