Obituary of Betty Stratemeyer

SPRINGFIELD — The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Santa Clara 2nd Ward in Eugene, 555 N. Danebo Avenue for Betty June Stratemeyer, who died April 27 of congestive heart failure. She was 86.Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church.She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Portland to Cornelius “Hugh” and Emma Perry Hendrickson. She married William “Bill” Stratemeyer in Salt Lake City. He died Aug. 28, 2001.She graduated from La Grande High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two grandchildren, Stephan Price of Salem and Anjanette Price of Halsey. Her daughter, Judy Price, died previously.Burial will be a Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Remembrances to the Lion’s Club.
