Obituary of Ida Fletcher

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Ida Fletcher of Springfield, who died April 27 of age-related causes. She was 88.She was born April 22, 1923, in Springfield to Les and Ethel Goddard Johnson. She married Leonard Evenson in 1941 in Lane County. He died in 1979. She married Nathen Fletcher in 1967 in Reno, Nev. He died in 1989.She attended Springfield public schools. She worked for Eugene Fruit Growers Cannery for 27 years.Survivors include two sons, Robert Evenson of Roseburg and Dick Evenson of Lowell; two sisters, Elizabeth Prociw of Bend and Betty Hagle of Washington; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; A son, Gary Everson, died in 2006.Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
