Obituary of Norma Hinshaw

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, at Springfield Memorial Park & Funeral Home for Norma Hinshaw of Springfield, who died April 28 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She was 87. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in North Bend to William and Ethel Howard Fisher. She married M.L. Hinshaw on July 12, 1941, in Aumsville. He died Aug. 19, 1996.She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Hinshaw of Kurtistown, Hawaii, and Sharon Smith of Springfield; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A son, Jimmie Hinshaw, died Aug. 17, 2002.Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
