Obituary of Harvey (aka Jerry Suski) Hutton
HUTTON: Harvey Hutton (aka Jerry Suski) passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the age of 64 years. Jerry was predeceased by his father Mitchel Suski, mother Helen (née Kasprick) Suski; siblings Joyce Suski and Ralph Suski. He is survived by sister Grace Maximchuk, brother Arnold (Sharon) Suski and numerous nephews and nieces. Jerry was born April 16, 1947 in the Bethany area, the youngest of five children. Jerry worked Hydro and MTS, but due to a lifelong illness his working days were cut short. He lived with his mother until her passing in 1979, then with his sister Grace and various homes until his recent passing. Jerry was a person of solitude, but not afraid to state his opinion. He had a love of music, his favorites were Johnny Cash and Elvis. Jerry was also able to get recordings of his own songs. In keeping with his wishes, Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 with Fr. Dominic Yuen as Celebrant. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa, MB. Pallbearers for Uncle Jerry, were Darren (Joyce) Suski, Kristin (Ralph) Kovacs, Jamie (Arnold) Suski, Kevin, Charlene, and Shane (Grace) Maximchuk. Honorary Pallbearer was Bill Potter. Memorial donations may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, "Palliative Care", 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3 or the Canadian Mental Health Association, 23-12th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4L6.
