Obituary of Thomas West

Thomas “Tom” West of Springfield died May 1 of age-related causes. He was 93. No service is planned.He was born Sept. 6, 1917, in Leaburg to Ernest and Camie Willian West. He married Edna “Cookie” Isaacson on July 21, 1936, in Eugene.He retired from Roseboro Lumber Co. after 48 years as a heavy-equipment operator.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Powell of Springfield; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
