Thelma InmanJUNCTION CITY — A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at Inman Cemetery in Elmira for Thelma B. Inman of Junction City, who died May 4 of cancer. She was 81. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. May 21 at Valley United Methodist Church in Veneta.She was born March 30, 1930, in Eugene to Fread and Catherine Levage Petzold. She married Ben Inman on Oct. 9, 1949, in Eugene. He died Feb. 27, 1999.She graduated from Crow High School in 1948. She worked as a telephone operator from 1948 to 1949, was a homemaker from 1965 to 1981 and worked as a secretary for Veneta Elemetary School.Survivors include a son, David of Portland; a daughter, Diane Towle of Camas, Wash.; life partner Stan Sparks; a brother, Ralph Petzold of Eugene; two sisters, Wanda Olsrud of Medford and Dorothy Troxler of Eugene; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
