Mom had the gift of true hospitality. Our home and especially our dining room table was always open to friends, strangers, foster children, extended family, missionaries, and anyone in need. Her gift to many was her homemade baking, canning - her freezer was always full.

Mom was involved in starting the first Brandon Self-help store, as well as helping refugees get settled.
