Obituary of Edna Taylor

TAYLOR: Edna Taylor of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, passed away at the Hamiota District Hospital on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 97 years. Edna is survived by her children: Marshall (Betty) Taylor, Gordon Taylor, Marina Tacan, Margaret Wacanta and Joyce Wasicuna of Sioux Valley. She is survived by five generations of family, a huge extended family and numerous adopted relatives. The Funeral Service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held at the Taylor residence in Sioux Valley on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Sioux Valley. Please bring lawn chairs and dishes for feast.
