Obituary of Claudie Neet

Claudie NeetClaudie Neet of Eugene died April 27 of causes related to cancer. She was 93.She was born Nov. 22, 1917, in Britton, Okla., to William and Hanna McLain Herrmann. She married Einrid Neet on May 29, 1944, in Eugene. He died Feb. 20, 2002.She graduated from University High School in 1934. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Oregon in 1938. She also held a librarian certificate from the UO. She worked as a teacher in Alsea and taught high school in Port Orford, Crane, Crow and Lowell. She started the library at Spencer Butte Middle School and was the librarian there.Survivors include two sons, Bob and Don, both of Eugene; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Inurnment will be at the Neet Family Cemetery in Jasper. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
