Obituary of Ralph B. Petzold

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Ralph Petzold of Eugene, who died May 8 of age-related causes. He was 89. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.He was born July 10, 1921, in Eugene to Fread and Katherine Levage Petzold. He married Margaret Holland on June 6, 1959, in Reno, Nev. She died July 25, 2004.He attended Crow High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He worked as a road maintenance supervisor for Lane County for 42 years.Survivors include four daughters, Joy Felt, Donella Bray, Bette Morrison and Haroldine Maas, all of Eugene; two sisters, Wanda Olsrud of Medford and Dorothy Troxel of Eugene; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Remembrances to Willamette Christian School’s scholarship fund.
