To the Elliott Family
My sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. I enjoyed working with Gwen at many St. Matthew's functions. Just the past winter, we had a lovely visit at the Mardi club reunion- she was always so friendly and full of fun. Her life was filled with goodness towards others. My prayers are with you all- Freda Scott

To all the Elliott family,
Paul and I send our sincerest condolences to all of you at this sad time. Gwen was a very special lady, full of caring and compassion for others.
I first met Gwen and Ken as parents at Meadows School, but in more recent times at Matthew's Cathedral . I ( Jean ) especially enjoyed our visits at Rotary Villas and will miss them.
Gwen will be missed by the many people whose lives she has touched.
God's blessings

I worked with Ken (in the RCMP) at either Flin Flon, or maybe Highway Patrol out of Winnipeg, actually we got along good. I I am pleased to see the name Matheson, as my mother was a Matheson, originally from down east, then Whitewood, Sask. My condolences to the family from Winnipeg, Phone 204-888-8378. I am a former of the RCMP and then left to go flying and get my commercial pilots license with hopes of getting back in the force to go in the aviation section but it was full of members so I went bush flying for 27 years. I am with the RCMP Veterans Association. I am just having a 90th birthday on April 21st. JACK CLARKSON. REG # 16073.. R I P

Sincere condolences are being sent to the entire Elliott family,
Gwen and Ken were wonderful friends of Alex and Peggy Matheson...and as such, were friends to all of us kids. Gwen and Peggy had a special friendship and in their retirement, they both lived in Lion's Manor and then Rotary Villas. Gwen was so kind and helpful to Mom during her final months at Rotary Villas...we would have been lost without her caring support. When Peggy moved to Fairview, Gwen faithfully visited mom there. They were always so happy to see each other and always said goodbye with a kiss and a warm hug.
Ken and Gwen were wonderful friends and we are going to miss them very much.
We hope all your very special memories of Gwen provide great comfort and strength on your difficult days.
Marie, Gord, Scott and Graeme Matheson

A beautiful caring woman and wonderful friend. We will always treasure the times we spent together with her and Ken especially dinner parties, New Year's Eve parties watching 'Dinner for One', the military ball and of course at St Matthew's.. We were richly blessed to have her as part of our lives and give thanks for her love, support and friendship.
