Obituary of Ustyna Senkiw

SENKIW: Ustyna Senkiw passed away at Fairview Personal Care Home, on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the age of 92 years. Ustyna was born October 11, 1927 in the Ukraine. She and her son immigrated to Canada in 1972, residing in Brandon. Ustyna, mainly known as "Baba", was part of the Brandon community for 45 years. She took great pride in the home she created for herself and her son. She loved to cook and sew, but was the happiest working in her beautiful gardens. Ustyna also loved being a part of the Ukrainian community. Ustyna now joins her son, Peter Nagnibeda, her brothers and sisters of the Ukraine, as well as her mother and father in heaven. Baba, bask in the glory of joining your loved ones in heaven, and know that your daughter-in-law Dee, your granddaughter Natalie (Denver), and great granddaughter Paige will keep you and all your memories alive with us. Thank you to all he caregivers on the second floor of Fairview Personal Care Home, you made a home for Baba and we know you touched her heart. A private good-bye will be held by her family.
