Obituary of Lita Brown

Lita BrownLita C. Brown of Eugene died May 19 of age-related causes. She was 87. No service is planned.She was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Carl and Elsie Steinmueller Huebner. She married Ted Brown on Oct. 24, 1954, in Eugene. He died April 20, 2001.She graduated from Drain Union High School and attended Northwestern Business College. She worked as a secretary for three city managers in Eugene and as administrator of the trust territories of the Pacific Islands in Guam and other government agencies around the world.Survivors include a stepson, Douglas of Yuma, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.
