Obituary of Becker Michael

CHESHIRE — Private inurnment will be at Colfax Cemetery in Colfax, Calif., for Michael D. Becker of Cheshire, who died May 15 of complications from dementia. He was 65.He was born April 10, 1946, in Fresno, Calif., to Robert and Christine Schultz Becker. He served in the U.S. Army from March 1969 to April 1972, including Vietnam. He was a deputy sheriff for 20 years with Placer County in California and later worked as a long-haul truck driver.Survivors include his mother, of Auburn, Calif.; two sons, Michael of Cheshire and Randall of Junction City; a sister, Lucretia Neill of Auburn; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
