Catherine FoxThe funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Garden Way Church in Eugene for Catherine A. Fox, of Eugene, who died May 28 of complications from a stroke. She was 87. A visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Musgrove Family Mortuary, and burial will be at noon Friday at Cliffside Cemetery in Sandy.Fox was born on May 4, 1924, to Bismarck, N.D., to Dana and Maude Bowers Cone. She married Kenneth Fox on Feb. 11, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minn. He died Sept. 17, 2004.She received a bachelor’s degree from Dakota Bible College, had written several published books and was involved in missionary ministries.Survivors include two sons, Norman of Springfield, and Gary of Terryville, Conn.; two daughters, Marlys Fox-Steele of Eugene, and Marilee Fox-Cichon of Orinda, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
