Obituary of James Wester

James WesterA graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Corvallis for James G. Wester of Eugene, who died May 30 of age-related causes. He was 95.He was born July 5, 1915, in Raymond, Wash., to Julius and Addie Johnson Wester. He married Joy Papke on June 25, 1949, in Eugene. She died July 29, 1990.He graduated from Raymond High School in 1933. He served in the Army between 1944 and 1946, and worked as a homebuilder in Eugene.Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Maier of Eugene, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A son, Carl, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary.
