Obituary of Violet Loeck
JUNCTION CITY — A memorial will be at 3:30 p.m. June 3 at Murphy Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City for Violet Pearl Loeck of Junction City, who died May 24 of a stroke. She was 88.Loeck was born on Feb. 15, 1923, in Tracy, Minn., to Joseph and Lula Robinson Trout. She married Walter Loeck on Feb. 15, 1947, in Tracy. He died on June 22, 1997.During World War II, she was a cook at a hospital and nursing home and a private nanny in Washington D.C. and Virginia. She received her high school diploma at Lane Community College in 1977 and also took college classes there.Survivors include three daughters: Linda and Avis Loeck of Junction City and Darlene Iverson of Grants Pass; three sons: Steven of Portland, Louis of Redmond, Wash., and David of Graham, Wash.; a sister Daisy Strome of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a brother Don Trout of California; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
