Obituary of Jean Chase

Jean ChaseSPRINGFIELD — Jean Chase of Springfield died June 1 of age-related causes. She was 87. No service is planned.She was born on Feb. 14, 1924, in Tekoa, Wash., to Ernest and Minnie Smith Wroth. She married Donn Chase on Feb. 9, 1943, in Phoenix, Ariz. He died on June 19, 1998.She graduated from Eugene High School and Eugene Business College and worked as a bookkeeper for Chase for many years.Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Sanders of Eugene; two sisters, Helen LeBlanc of Springfield and Judy Estep of Bend; a brother, Don Wroth of Sacramento; and one grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
