Obituary of Don Reese

HARRISBURG — A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Harrisburg Christian Church for Don C. Reese of Harrisburg, who died May 31 of age-related causes. He was 90.He was born Feb. 19, 1921, to Eugene and Sue Pitts Reese. He married Mary Ann Smith on Aug. 13, 1983, in Harrisburg. She died March 3, 2011.He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a grass seed farmer and retired in the mid-1980s.Survivors include two daughters, Roberta Moody of Bend and Mary Jane Anderson of Waldport; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.Burial at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City.
