Obituary of Ruth Stanley

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Ruth Charlotte Stanley of Junction City, who died June 7 of age-related causes. She was 81.Visitation will be noon Friday at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.She was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Libby, Mont. She married Robert Stanley on July 4, 1953, in Reno, Nev. He died July 14, 2000.She was a homemaker, waitress and former owner of B&R Market.Survivors include four daughters, Valerie Holmes of Veneta, Charlene Roth of St. Louis, Mo., Debi Smith of Bend and Vickie Knigge of Eugene; a son, Mark of Albany; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
