Obituary of Clifford Cullen

Clifford Cullen of Eugene died June 13 of heart failure. He was 83. No service is planned.He was born July 8, 1927, in Treherbert, Wales, to Charles and Helen Jones Cullen. He married Phyllis Palmer on Feb. 12, 1948, in Wales. She died April 21, 1987.He received his formal education in Wales and worked for Transo Paper Company in Glendale, Calif., as a die paper cutter, making envelopes. He also worked at Warner Brothers Studios from 1960 to 1966 as a stage carpenter.Survivors include three daughters, Christine Kephart of Lancaster, Calif., Sheila McCulloch of Glendale, Calif., and Wendy Merriwether of St. Charles, Miss.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Forrest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, Calif. Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
