Obituary of Ella Mae Lund

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home for Ella Mae Lund of Eugene, who died June 10 of age-related causes. She was 82. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday.She was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Superior, Wis., to John and Hannah Johnson Pounder. She married Hubert Lund on Sept. 7, 1946, in Eugene; he died May 3, 2005.She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Bremerton, Wash. She worked for the Bethel School District from 1964 to the mid-1980s, retiring as accounts payable clerk.Survivors include a son, Perry of Eugene; a daughter, Sharon Lund of Eugene; a brother, Jack Pounder of Salem; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Entombment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.Remembrances to the Glaucoma Research Foundation.
