Clifford StapletonClifford Dale Stapleton of Eugene died June 13 of cancer. He was 82. No service is planned.He was born July 15, 1928, in Junction City to Carl and Cora Virgin Stapleton. He married Marilyn Grams on July 6, 1952, in Springfield.He attended Junction City High School and served is a military policeman in the U.S. Army. He worked for Ross Equipment as a heavy equipment operator throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Canada.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael and Randy, both of Eugene; a daughter, Kathy Stancliff of Roseburg; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
