Mabel HuberMabel Huber of Eugene died June 15 of cancer at age 89. A private family memorial is planned.She was born March 7, 1922, in Randolph, Kan., to August and Olga Blaske Ziegenhirt. She married Glen Huber on July 14, 1942, in Kansas. He died in 1988.She graduated from Walterville High School and attended Abilene Business College in Texas. She was the bookkeeper for Davidson Baking Co., among other jobs.Survivors include a son, Larry of Eugene; a daughter, Glenda Smith of Eugene; a sister, Lillian Pickett of Council Grove, Kan.; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
