Obituary of Shea Slayton

Shea SlaytonA celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, June 23, at the Eugene Faith Center for Shea Phillip Slayton of Eugene, who died June 18 in a personal watercraft accident. He was 20.He was born April 23, 1991, in Eugene to Donald and Kerre Bergmann Slayton.He graduated from North Eugene High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno. He was a student at the College of the Siskiyous in Weed, Calif.Survivors include his parents, Kerre Slayton and Don Oldenburg and Donald Slayton and Sara Wilson, all of Eugene; his grandparents, Floyd and Marine Bergmann of Rhododendron and John and Donnella Slayton of Parkrose; three brothers, Beau Slayton, Gabe Wilson and Alex Wilson, all of Eugene; and two sisters, Hayley Wilson and Maia Wilson, both of Eugene.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
