Maxine LeonardThe funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Willamette Christian Center in Eugene for Maxine Leonard of Eugene, who died June 17 of age-related causes at age 85. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.She was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Marshall, Texas, to Clarence and Carrie Murrary Britt. She and her husband were married in 1943 in Portland. He died in 1947.She received a general education diploma at Lane Community College. She worked for University of Oregon Housing for 18 years, retiring in 1987.Survivors include two sons, Leon Glaster of Fairburn, Ga., and Kevin Leonard of Eugene; a brother, Willie Britt of Marshall; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Ruby Holifield, died previously.Burial will follow the service at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
