Obituary of Arline M. Hoff

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Arline Marion Hoff of Eugene, who died June 21 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Custer, S.D., to August and Mabel Jerde Rogich. She married Del Hoff on July 9, 1947, in Washoe County, Nev. He died Oct. 14, 1969.She graduated from Hill City Consolidated High School in 1942. She worked at an aircraft plant in 1943 and as a nurse’s aide in 1944. She was co-owner of Del Hoff’s Ice Cream from 1959 to 1968. She worked for the Federal Agriculture Extension Service in 1974.Survivors include two sons, Dennis of Springfield and Doug of Eugene; two daughters, Cheryl Hill and Darlene Ruiz, both of Eugene; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Remembrances to Lane County Animal Services or Good Samaritan Eugene Village.
