Obituary of Violet Crowson
MONROE — A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg for Violet Ann Crowson of Monroe, who died June 21 of age-related causes. She was 87.She was born April 19, 1924, in Lone Wolf, Okla., to Woodard and Mertie Sells Williams. She married Chester Crowson on March 12, 1942, in Eugene.She was co-owner and operator of the family farm and Crowson Bus Company in Monroe.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gerald and Randall, both of Monroe; three daughters, Sandra Couch of Boise, Pamela Dickson of Kingman, Ariz., and Lisa Rictor of Monroe; two sisters, Marie Etchison of Columbia City and Linda Percell of Junction City; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
