Obituary of Lucile Lewis

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Lucile Arbeutis Lewis of Florence, who died June 18 of age-related causes. She was 91. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.She was born May 11, 1920, in Eugene to Benjamin and Alice Rickman Hoover. She married Robert Lewis on Sept. 25, 1938, in Eugene. He died May 3, 1989.She worked for a hospital for 28 years.Survivors include three sons, Bert of Washington, Frank of Florence and Gene of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A son, Larry Allen Lewis, died previously.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Association.
