Kay GerotThe funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eugene for Phyliss Kathleen “Kay” Gerot of Eugene, who died July 3 of age-related causes. She was 90.She was born Nov. 23, 1920, in Eagle, Idaho, to Edward and LaVon Oviatt Plant.She was married to Paul Muller from 1942 to 1979. She was married to Joe Gerot from 1980 to 1995.She graduated from Eugene High School. She worked as a cosmetician at the Bon Marche.Survivors include five sons, Michael and Jeff, both of Eugene, Greg of Pierce, Idaho, Todd of Lake Oswego and Joe Jr. of San Francisco; a daughter, Jane Gerot of Seattle; two siblings, Jo Hagen of Bend and Barbra Scroggs of Portland; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Both husbands died previously.Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
