Lowell MorehouseA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Coburg Road Church of Christ for Lowell “Bryce” Morehouse of Eugene, who died Aug. 12 of age-related causes at age 90. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Musgrove Family Mortuary. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 22 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.He was born Nov. 28, 1920, in Manchester, Kan., to Harold and Florence Glenn Morehouse. He married Evelyne Purcell on Dec. 26, 1941, in San Jose, Calif.He served in the U.S. Air Force for 39 years, retiring as a chief master sergeant. He was an aerial photographer and worked for the Strategic Air Command. He worked as a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service from 1973 to 1985.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lynda Perkins of Camas, Wash.; two sisters, Dorothy Day of Salina, Kan., and Audrey Cooley of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Remembrances to the American Heart Association.
