Obituary of Nora Larkin

Nora LarkinSPRINGFIELD — The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Nora Jane Larkin of Springfield, who died Aug. 17 of age-related causes. She was 87. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.She was born May 14, 1924, in Checotah, Okla., to Thomas and Margaret Wilson Haggard. She married Harold Larkin on Feb. 17, 1976, in Monroe. He died Jan. 25, 1997.She graduated from Chowchilla High School in Chowchilla, Calif. She worked as a telephone operator for AT&T and as an office clerk at a naval air base, and was co-owner of Roto-Rooter Sewer Service.Survivors include a daughter, Karen Boden of Springfield; two sisters, Rose Merritt of Turlock, Calif., and Bertha Morris of Checotah; two brothers, John Haggard of Fresno, Calif., and Carl Haggard of Chowchilla; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her first husband, Delbert Brown, and a daughter, Patricia Brown, died previously.Burial will follow the service at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene.
