Obituary of Josephine Hill

SWEET HOME — The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Josephine Ann Hill of Sweet Home, who died Aug. 17 of age-related causes. She was 83.She was born May 29, 1926, in Salem to Julian and Abby Kuiken Holtorf. She married Waldo Hill on Feb. 20, 1949, in Oakridge. He died Jan. 25, 2004.She attended Stayton High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Nancy O’Brien of Sweet Home and Diana Hulsey of Springfield; a son, Paul of Sweet Home; two sisters, Ruth Murphree of Eugene and May Aldrich of Sacramento; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.
