Barbara FrichetteBarbara Jean Frichette of Eugene died Aug. 16 of causes related to cancer. She was 71. A private memorial service is planned.She was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Hayward, Calif., to Anthony and Gabriella Agrella Jardine. She married S. Roger Frichette on May 4, 1963, in Hayward, Calif.She was a child care provider in Corvallis from 1972 to 1983. She worked at Cal State Fullerton Bookstore in California, at a flower shop and in general merchandising for the 1984 Olympics. She worked as a receptionist at Watterson College in Pasadena, Calif., and at Bade and Olsen in Arcadia, Calif. She then worked for San Marino Security.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Laura Millham of Orinda, Calif.; a son, Steve of Eugene; a sister, Maryann Blunden of Danville, Calif.; a brother, Richard Jardine of San Jose, Calif.; and six grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, Calif. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
