Jeff MurenA celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 27, at Orchard Point Park, Site No. 1, in Eugene for Jeff P. Muren of Eugene, who died Aug. 23 of injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident. He was 56.He was born April 25, 1955, in Berkeley, Calif., to Edward and JoAnn Galbreath Muren.He worked as a truck driver for Delta Sand & Gravel and worked for Al’s Sheet Metal.Survivors include a son, Tarl Bates of Eugene; two daughters, Melody Muren of California and Samantha Bates of Florence; a brother, Mark of Lafayette, Calif.; and a sister, Christiana Carlevaro-Manning of Martinez, Calif.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
