Obituary of Norma Bartzat

Norma BartzatA celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Eugene Eagles Lodge for Norma L. Bartzat of Eugene, who died Aug. 21 of age-related causes at age 85.Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.She was born April 16, 1926, in Manistique, Mich., to Otis and Anna Shoberg Nelson. She married Albert “Bud” Bartzat on April 4, 1991, in Reno, Nev.She graduated from Manistique High School. She worked in office management and accounting.Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Swain of Vida; two brothers, Jimmy Nelson and Gary Nelson, both of Manistique; a sister, Betty Jean Danko of Manistique; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
