Obituary of Ruth Kifer

Ruth KiferA memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at First Baptist Church in Eugene for Ruth L. Kifer of Eugene, who died Aug. 25 of dementia. She was 89.She was born Jan. 12, 1922, in Akron, Ohio, to George and Esperance Francisco Kifer.She graduated from Fremont High School in Los Angeles in 1940 and from Biola University in Los Angeles in 1951. She worked as vice president of accounting for Occidental Petroleum.Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Hawkins of Eugene and Norma Romero-Martin of Buhl, Idaho.Burial will be in Buhl. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to First Baptist Church in Eugene.
