Obituary of Carroll Bush

A celebration of life will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Rocket Inn in Creswell for Carroll W. Bush of Creswell, who died Aug. 18 of age-related causes. He was 90.He was born Oct. 19, 1920, in Creswell to Charlie and Rose Parry Bush. He married Roberta Syphers on Feb. 7, 1942, in Vancouver, Wash.He worked in the lumber industry as a sawyer and millworker. He retired from Zip-O-Log Veneer after 30 years.Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Bonnie Roundtree of Enumclaw, Wash., and Marilyn Powers of Creswell; a son, Wayne of Salem; a brother, Ray “Pooch” of Gold Beach; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. One granddaughter, Amber Bush, died previously.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
